| A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM RALPH NORMAN |
Dear Constituent:
It’s been three months since I had the honor of standing on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, DC and taking the oath of office to serve as your Congressman. As I placed my hand on the family Bible my mother used for her Sunday School lessons more than 50 years ago, I couldn’t help but reflect briefly on how truly remarkable, yet humbling, it is to represent you in Washington.
I believe this is a unique time for America…that we are at a crossroads of sorts. Will we choose the course of angry politics that divide, isolate, and separate us? Or will we choose to rally together around the fundamental ideas of individual liberty, personal responsibility, free market principles, and a smaller, more-effective, more efficient federal government?
I’d like your thoughts on that question and also to provide you an update on the recent issues we have been dealing with in Washington. To do this, we will be holding our first Tele-Town-Hall meeting on Tuesday, October 10th at 7:30pm. The oath I swore to uphold a few months ago begins…“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States…” My pledge to you is that I will work hard each day to fulfill that Oath on your behalf. Furthermore, please know that I will devote the time and resources it takes to provide you any service our office can assist with and to keep you informed about what is happening in Congress.
