Town Hall

Sumter County Town Hall

Tuesday, September 3, 2019 | 11:30 AM Sumter County, SC
I'll be hosting a live town hall in Sumter County during the lunch hour of Tuesday, September 3rd.

This town hall will be taking place at the Golden Corral Buffet & Grill, located at 2385 Walmart Blvd in Sumter. We'll get started at 11:30 AM with a legislative update, including recent votes, major legislative initiatives, and a look at what's ahead for Congress over the next 6-12 months. And of course I'll take questions from those in attendance.

This town hall should last around an hour, depending on how many questions there are. I'm holding eight (8) of these events around our congressional district through mid-September, so please check out my Events page for additional opportunities if this date or location isn't convenient.

*** Also, three important notes:

First, the Golden Corral has been kind enough to offer their space for this event as a service to the community. While there's obviously no cost to attend and no obligation to purchase food, please consider the Golden Corral for your lunch plans. (I know I will.) It would be a great way for us all to say thanks to them.

Second, if you or someone you know needs assistance with any department of the federal government, I'll have at least one case worker from my office in attendance who will be able to help you directly. (This includes the VA, IRS, immigration, passports, Social Security, Medicare, etc.)

And finally, any updates or changes to this town hall will be posted here, so be sure to check back for updates or follow this event on Facebook. For questions, please contact Michael Neece from my office at Michael.Neece@mail.house.gov.

I hope to see many of you there!
