NEW INDY UPDATE: the deadline for public comments concerning the Consent Decree with New Indy has been extended 30 days, and will now close on Friday, March 11th. (See links below)

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is required, by law, to thoroughly review all public comments. Meanwhile, the EPA has an obligation to work with the DOJ bring the right people to the table for that review process. I am pleased the DOJ has granted this additional time.

*** Separately but related, I'm working on an upcoming forum with various elected leaders and (hopefully) EPA officials concerning this Consent Decree, public responses, and next steps to mitigate the odors from that facility.
