Help with a Federal Agency

If you are experiencing difficulty with a federal agency, Congressman Ralph Norman’s office may be able to assist you.

Please call our district office at (803) 327-1114 to speak directly with a member of our casework team.

Our casework team helps constituents navigate issues involving federal agencies, obtain information about pending matters, and communicate with agencies when constituents have been unable to resolve an issue on their own.

While congressional offices cannot guarantee a particular outcome or require a federal agency to decide a matter in a constituent’s favor, our staff will do everything we appropriately can to help you receive information and a response regarding your case.

Passport Assistance
If you are experiencing an urgent passport issue or are concerned that your passport will not arrive before upcoming international travel, please call our district office as soon as possible.

If you have already applied for a passport, please have your application locator number, scheduled date of international travel, travel itinerary or other proof of travel, and any correspondence from the U.S. Department of State available when you call.

Our office may be able to make an inquiry with the Department of State, but we cannot guarantee that a passport will be issued, an appointment will be available, or a passport will be delivered by a particular date.

Privacy Authorization
Federal law requires congressional offices to obtain written authorization before requesting certain information from a federal agency on an individual’s behalf.

Please call our district office to begin the casework process. A member of our staff will speak with you about your situation and provide instructions regarding any privacy authorization or supporting documentation needed for your case.
