I’ve proudly joined my colleagues in cosponsoring the No Passports for Terrorists and Traffickers Act — a commonsense bill that does exactly what the name implies.

This legislation closes dangerous loopholes that have allowed drug traffickers, terrorists, and other bad actors to obtain U.S. passports. These documents are a privilege, not a right, and must never be handed to individuals who threaten our national security or the safety of our communities.

It’s time we take bold steps to stop the flow of drugs and crime across our borders, and this bill is a crucial part of that effort.
