Wrong for our Nation

It's been awkward lately watching Democrats in Congress as they flounder around over fundamental issues that (to most of us) are cut & dried. In recent weeks they've: ⚠ embraced socialism on numerous levels ⚠ refused to affirm that illegal immigrants should not be able to vote ⚠ neutered a resolution condemning the blatantly anti-Semitic remarks by Rep. Ilhan Omar ⚠fought tooth & nail against a border wall to help reduce the humanitarian crisis along our southern border ⚠ supported various pieces of legislation that would infringe upon our 1st & 2nd Amendment rights, and ⚠ blocked numerous requests to consider the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. Even during heated debates over policy in the past, Republicans and Democrats could usually agree on what was fundamentally right and wrong for our nation. I hope Democrats are not losing touch with that. I hope this is just a phase. |
