After the second reported chemical spill at Silfab Solar, a full and thorough investigation must take place. The safety of the surrounding community and the workers at the facility must be a top priority. 

My office is in contact with state and local officials as we work to get to the bottom of what occurred and ensure all the facts come to light. If negligence played any role in these accidents, Silfab must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. 

As your federal representative, I have also requested the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency conduct a full risk management program compliance inspection. We will continue working with local and state partners to ensure transparency and that families in the surrounding area receive the answers they deserve.
