NDAA Priorities

America's military is the strongest fighting force in the world because we continue to invest in our servicemembers.

I was proud to introduce FOUR critical amendments to the House version of the FY27 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), legislation that strengthens our military, supports our service members, and bolsters America's national defense. I'm pleased that all four were included in the final House bill.

My amendments:
✅ Require the Department of Defense to disclose the taxpayer cost of certain projects, increasing transparency and accountability.
✅ Prohibit CCP-linked financial service providers from being used on Department of Defense devices to protect our national security.
✅ Ensure pilot programs authorized under the FY27 NDAA do not continue indefinitely by requiring they expire within two years unless Congress provides otherwise.
✅ Increase transparency from the Army to report to Congress on the effectiveness of insect repellent-treated combat uniforms while reviewing future improvements to better protect soldiers in the field.

Now it's time to get this bill signed into law so we can continue supporting our service members, strengthening our national defense, and ensuring the United States maintains the strongest and most lethal military in the world!!
