Washington, D.C. –  Congressman Ralph Norman (SC-05), a member of the House Small Business Committee and a small businessman himself, recognizes and honors this week as National Veterans Small Business Week. Congressman Norman has proudly cosponsored H. Res. 588, which supports the goals and ideals of National Veterans Small Business Week.

Congressman Norman has released the following statement:

"As we celebrate National Veterans Small Business Week, I want to honor all the veteran entrepreneurship across the 5th District and nation. There are over 50,000 veterans and close to 50 veteran-owned small business in the 5th district alone. These businesses greatly impact the economic growth of our communities and create many jobs for South Carolinians.

“I am forever grateful to these veteran small business owners for their service to this country. Empowering small businesses and our nation’s veterans will continue to be priorities of mine that I will strongly fight for in Washington.”
