$25 Billion Without One Reform

I flew up to D.C. last night because Nancy Pelosi called the House back into session over a manufactured crisis.
This is over the U.S. Postal Service. If you missed my post earlier this week, I tore apart the lies and misinformation out there regarding the USPS and its ability to handle election-related mail this year. It’s a “must read” – you can find a link below.

As I stated earlier this week – multiple times – while the USPS has problems that Congress needs to address, those problems will NOT threaten this year's election. All that's been asked is that election-related mail be sent with enough time to meet the Postal Service's own guidelines for delivery. This is not complicated.

Nevertheless, the House is in session to vote on H.R. 8015, which would throw $25 billion at the USPS without one single reform. Not one! Furthermore, we’re voting on this bill BEFORE the Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, testifies at the House Oversight Committee on Monday!! It’s totally backwards, as I pointed out during debate a few minutes ago on the House floor.
