I'll be hosting a live town hall in Union County during the lunch hour on Wednesday, August 21st.
This town hall will be taking place at
Midway BBQ, located at 881 Main Street in Buffalo, SC. We'll get started at 11:30 AM with a legislative update, including recent votes, major legislative initiatives, and a look at what's ahead for Congress over the next 6-12 months. And of course I'll take questions from those in attendance.
This town hall should last around an hour, depending on how many questions there are. I'm holding eight (8) of these events around our congressional district through mid-September, so please
check out my Events page for additional opportunities if this date or location isn't convenient.
*** Also, three important notes:
First, Midway BBQ has been kind enough to offer their space for this event as a service to the community. While there's obviously no cost to attend and no obligation to purchase lunch, please consider Midway for your lunch plans. (I know I will.) It would be a great way for all of us to say thanks to them.
Second, if you or someone you know needs assistance with any department of the federal government, I'll have at least one case worker from my office in attendance who will be able to help you directly. (This includes the VA, IRS, immigration, passports, Social Security, Medicare, etc.)
And finally, any updates or changes to this town hall will be posted here, so please be sure to check back for updates, or
follow this event on Facebook. For questions, please contact Michael Neece from my office at
Michael.Neece@mail.house.gov.
I hope to see many of you there!
