Congressman Norman introduces PATCH Act in Honor of Military Appreciation Month
Washington,
May 1, 2018
Washington, D.C. – In honor of Military Appreciation Month, Congressman Norman introduced the “Permanently Amending Tax Cuts for our Heroes Act”. The PATCH Act would make permanent many of the tax cuts for our troops found in the tax reform bill, which was signed into law in December. Congressman Norman has released the following statement: "It’s been just over four months since tax reform was signed into law, and families and individuals all over the 5th District have been seeing positive effects. The next step is to make these tax cuts permanent, and what better place to start than with the men and women of our armed forces. “Our troops have sacrificed so much and put their lives on the line to ensure we enjoy our day-to-day liberties. While we must remember to uphold our troops all the time, I am so honored to introduce the PATCH Act to provide tax relief for those in uniform.” |
