Today is Vietnam Veterans Day, a very special day where we honor and pay tribute to all who served in the Vietnam War.
Over 2.7 million Americans fought for our nation in the Vietnam War, according to the Veterans Administration. Many were injured, some gravely. And many others would never return home alive.
I say this often, but it cannot be said enough: This nation owes our veterans a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid.
On this day for those who sacrificed in the Vietnam War – and every day for all who have served our nation’s military – thank you.
