Co-Sponsoring Women's Bill of Rights

Congresswoman Debbie Lesko is leading a resolution in the House of Representatives that I’m co-sponsoring. It simply establishes a legal definition of gender and affirms what the overwhelming majority of Americans know to be true.

Who would have thought this would have been necessary just 10-15 years ago? Unfortunately, the Left has figuratively declared war on women in this country. To woke liberals, a biological woman is worthy of ABSOLUTLY NO CONSIDERATION when it comes to a biological man who decide to “identify” as female.

The Left has no consideration for those women when it comes to biological males being in their restrooms, locker rooms, or even domestic abuse shelters. They’ve no consideration for those women on the sports fields, with athletic titles, or collegiate scholarships for women.

They’ve elevated gender identity above all else. That’s the first hallmark of today’s “progressive” movement. Their second hallmark is to demonize anyone who dares question their motives, rationale, or the collateral damage their beliefs ultimately have on the rest of society.  Like so many of you, I’m tired of it!

So back to this House resolution. It’s appropriately called the Women’s Bill of Rights and Rep. Lesko explains it very clearly: “This bill acknowledges the biological differences in men and women, highlights the importance of differentiating between men and women in law for the purposes of protecting sex-segregated activities and organizations, and affirms the importance of using ‘mother’ and ‘father’ in written law to protect families and bolster parents.”

That’s a breath of refreshing, common-sense air.

This resolution also has the Independent Women’s Voice, Independent Women’s Law Center, Concerned Women for America LAC, Heritage Action for America, American Principles Project, Women’s Liberation Front, Family Policy Alliance, Eagle Forum, Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC), and Women’s Declaration International USA.
