Biden's Classified Documents

=== UPDATE 1:42 PM ===

Shortly after I posted this below, the U.S. Attorney General announced that a special council was being appointed to investigate the classified documents found in Biden's garage and private office. Good news.

This is rich. This week we’re learning that not one, but TWO troves of classified documents have been discovered at President Biden’s personal properties. Presumably these were from his time as the Vice President.

Reports say the first batch was discovered back on November 2nd at Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center in D.C.  Yet it conveniently took over two months for that discovery to be publicly announced. Then today it was revealed a second batch of classified documents was discovered in President Biden’s home in Delaware. In a garage.

"My Corvette is in a locked garage,” said the President this morning, “so it's not like they're sitting out on the street."

Wow. Remember what Biden said concerning classified documents at former President Trump’s residence? He said it was “totally irresponsible” in a 60 Minutes interview. He questioned “how that could possibly happen, and [how] anyone could be that irresponsible.”

So what’s the appropriate course of action here?

If a special council was appropriate to look into President Trump’s handling of classified documents after he left office as President, then surely a special council is also warranted to examine how Joe Biden ended up with classified documents from tenure years ago as Vice President. There should not be a double standard here.
