This Thursday, February 23rd, starting at 8:30 AM, Rep. Ralph Norman
will facilitate a special forum at Winthrop University on the current and emerging challenges faced by small businesses in our community.
The SC SBDC recently contracted with Dr. Von Nessen to conduct a statewide survey to identify the largest concerns of small business owners. During Thursday's forum, Dr. Von Nessen, Michele Abraham, and Rep. Norman will discuss those findings and also hear from a panel of local small business owners. Topics of discussion are likely to include:
- supply chain disruptions;
- difficulties hiring and retaining employees;
- inflation; and
- other factors hurting revenues and resiliency.
Rep. Norman may also provide insight on the federal government's role managing inflation and what small business owners can expect moving forward from a legislative standpoint.
Media coverage is welcomed and encouraged. Media inquiries for Rep. Norman should be directed to Austin Livingston
