This Thursday, February 23rd, starting at 8:30 AM,
Rep. Ralph Norman will facilitate a special forum at Winthrop University on the current and emerging challenges faced by small businesses in our community.
Forum Topics
The SC SBDC recently contracted with Dr. Von Nessen to conduct a statewide survey to identify the largest concerns of small business owners. During Thursday's forum, Dr. Von Nessen, Michele Abraham, and Rep. Norman will discuss those findings and also hear from a panel of local small business owners. Topics of discussion are likely to include:
- supply chain disruptions;
- difficulties hiring and retaining employees;
- inflation; and
- other factors hurting revenues and resiliency.
Rep. Norman may also provide insight on the federal government's role managing inflation and what small business owners can expect moving forward from a legislative standpoint.
Media coverage is welcomed and encouraged. Media inquiries for Rep. Norman should be directed to
Austin Livingston at 202-740-8937.
