It was an honor to represent LIFE in our nation's capital!! Today, SCOTUS will hear the oral arguments in South Carolina's case Medina v. Planned Parenthood. As a strong advocate in support of the states' right to choose how to spend Medicaid dollars, we must PROTECT the sanctity of life. 

In 2018, Governor McMaster made the courageous decision to declare that abortion clinics, like Planned Parenthood, are not eligible to receive Medicaid funding. Why?  Because Medicaid dollars are intended to support true healthcare, to aid those in need, and to provide genuine medical assistance.

Since then, I’ve taken a leading role, alongside my colleagues, in supporting South Carolina’s right to make these determinations without interference from those who do not share our values. Our amicus brief highlights that the Medicaid Act preserves the states' authority because communities know their OWN needs BEST!!

If we can't protect the unborn, who can we protect?!
