Mueller Report

Make no mistake: the talking points have been memorized & rehearsed. The press releases were written weeks ago. And the media interviews have already been scheduled. Today's Democrat outrage will be not be over what the #MuellerReport says, but instead over what's redacted.

When you hear claims that "it's what's in the redactions that matter" – just remember that Robert Mueller has been directly involved in the redaction process. The same Robert Mueller who has been the "Democrat hero" over the last two years; the person they held as being the ultimate, unbiased figure in this investigation.

It's so strange (and hypocritical) to see some Democrats like Rep. Jerry Nadler, who was fighting tooth & nail for redactions with President Clinton's investigation, now insist that this report be released fully unredacted. That is a very dangerous position to take, and Democrat leadership owes the American people an apology.

We just went through a two-year, $25 million investigation into the highest levels of government. Obviously that process dove into a massive amount of classified information. We're not just talking about things like grand jury information (which, by the way, is classified by federal law). We're also talking redactions of the methods of our intelligence agencies, and the names of those individuals who work for them.

Who in their right mind believes that should be public information?

If the truth matters to you, then it's important to read the report for yourself. (A link can be found below.) Trust your own judgement instead of the talking points. And don't forget that the purpose of redactions isn't to mask the truth. Instead, they're necessary to protect our national interests and security.
