American privacy is precious and COMPLETELY nonnegotiable. With FISA set to expire on June 12, Congress has a golden opportunity to protect Americans from government surveillance and finally enact meaningful reforms. We've seen what happens when Washington operates without accountability. Federal agencies abused surveillance authorities, violated Americans' privacy, and repeatedly exceeded the limits of their power. We live in the United States of America, not communist China.
