As expected, today’s hearing in the House was a witch hunt in search of something – anything – that Democrats can use to try to impeach this President. Here are the facts we have:

1️⃣ We have the transcript of the actual call itself between President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky, which shows no quid pro quo.

2️⃣ We know that Ukraine did, in fact, receive the aid in question. They weren’t even aware it had been temporarily held up until the month following that phone call.

3️⃣ We know Zelensky has clearly stated he felt no pressure to investigate corruption in that country in exchange for our foreign aid.

4️⃣ Furthermore, Ukraine received our money without taking meaningful action on this front.

Never mind all that, say the Democrats, let’s bring in some folks to provide their **interpretation** of what the President could have meant. To provide their opinion. To see if there's anything there to help justify impeachment.
