Rock Hill, SC – On Wednesday, Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) led other members of Congress in a letter to Airlines for America (AFA) regarding their ability to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. This letter:

  1. expresses concern for staffing shortages during peak demand;
  2. discusses how enhanced unemployment benefits and inflation are negatively impacting the airline industry;
  3. requests a briefing on their plan to fully recover from the pandemic, how airlines utilized taxpayer funds during COVID-19, and any obstacles preventing them from reaching a full recovery.
