There’s only one job where you can get away with causing a massive crisis, denying you caused it, pretending to fix it but not really, and then trying to shift blame to anyone else but yourself.

That job is being a Democrat president.

Yesterday I took an earlier flight to D.C. to participate in a special hearing at the Heritage Foundation on inflation and skyrocketing energy prices under this administration. Don’t forget: Biden literally campaigned on policies to raise the cost of energy in pursuit of his liberal climate agenda. 

To make that happen, he took office and immediately canceled the Keystone XL pipeline.  He banned energy exploration and canceled oil & natural gas leases on federal lands.  In terms of net energy production, we were energy independent under his predecessor. But we lost it under Biden, who has been hostile on all fronts towards American energy production. The list goes on and on.

It may not have been Biden’s objective for things to spiral out of control this quickly, but make no mistake: it was his intent all along to drive up your energy costs in order to promote the Far Left’s “green agenda,” even though that can’t come close to meeting our needs yet.

Friends, we got EXACTLY what Biden promised: higher prices.

So did Biden reverse course once Americans were in real pain?  Nope.  Instead he asked OPEC to increase its output.  And when that didn’t work, he tried to blame the war in Ukraine, and then the very oil & gas companies he’s been trying to put out of business!
