Secure the Border Act of 2023

There should be a major vote this week in the House on an important immigration bill known as the Secure the Border Act of 2023 (H.R. 2). Last night, we were up past midnight in the Rules Committee ironing out parameters for the debate and vote on this legislation.
President Biden has done so much to weaken border security, while encouraging and facilitating illegal immigration. But this House Republican bill will:
🟢 Force Biden to restart construction of the border wall
🟢 End catch and release
🟢 Deploy more technology along our borders, both southern and northern
🟢 Increase the number of Border Patrol agents
🟢 Strengthen current laws to protect unaccompanied children from human trafficking
🟢 End abuse of executive immigration authority
🟢 Strengthen and streamline the asylum process

When this bill passes, it'll be ANOTHER major accomplishment for House Republicans, who seem to be the only ones at the moment taking our nation's problems seriously.
