WASHINGTON D.C. — Congressman Ralph Norman (R-SC) issued the following statement after President Donald Trump announced a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas: “Today’s peace deal between Israel and Hamas is a step in the right direction and long overdue. I commend the Israeli people for showing unwavering strength in the face of terror, and I give full credit to President Trump for his leadership in making this deal happen. Once again, President Trump is showing the world peace is achieved through strength, not weakness.” “We must continue to stand with Israel, ensure Hamas is fully dismantled, and never forget who the terrorists are in this conflict.
