At this point, is it safe to assume liberals actually want an immigration crisis along our southern border? What other conclusion could there be?

In just the last several weeks, the Biden Administration has stopped construction of the border wall, suspended the removal of most people with active deportation orders, canceled our policy requiring asylum seekers to remain in Mexico while their claims are vetted by U.S. authorities, released COVID-positive detainees into the U.S., and signaled an openness to amnesty.

The result is a surge in illegal border crossings, and our southern border has now spiraled back into utter chaos. Our Border Patrol is now apprehending 3,000 – 4,000 illegal immigrants Every. Single. Day. We’re on track this year to blow past EVERY record for illegal immigration. Our social systems and border officials don’t have the capacity or resources to handle this. They are completely overwhelmed!

Additionally, our Border Patrol is now encountering over 1,500 unaccompanied CHILDREN per week. Remember the “cages” the Obama Administration implemented but the media and liberals assigned to Trump? (Now they’re using converted shipping containers, but that’s a distinction without a difference.) Even those processing facilities have exceeded their capacities.

So far this Congress, I’ve co-sponsored multiple bills on immigration that go after drug cartels, sanctuary cities, people who intentionally overstay their visas, reinstate Trump’s “wait in Mexico” policy, and several more. I’m doing all I can, but unfortunately these bills face an uphill battle in the Democrat-controlled House.

Every bit of this disaster was predictable. None of it should come as a surprise. So again I’ll ask, is it safe to assume Democrats actually WANT an immigration crisis along our southern border for political gains? What other conclusion could there possibly be?
