An "Undisclosed East Room Session"

REPORT: “President Biden recently held an undisclosed East Room session with historians that included discussion of how big is too big — and how fast is too fast — to jam through once-in-a-lifetime historic changes to America.”

This was the leading paragraph of a news article this morning predicting what’s to come. Naturally the question is, what other “historic changes” could they have been talking about? Just look what Biden and congressional Democrats have done already:

🔺 From prohibiting voter ID to expanding controversial voting by mail, Democrats are trying to cement almost everything that could possibly go wrong with elections into federal law. (H.R. 1 – see my post from March 1st)

🔺 Biden has stopped border wall construction and halted deportations. He also rescinded Trump’s “remain in Mexico” asylum policy. All this has caused the largest rush on our border of illegal immigrants in the last 20 years. And congressional Democrats are doubling down with legislation to grant asylum and a pathway to citizenship, all for political gain and votes down the road. (H.R. 6 and 1603 – see my post from March 16th).

🔺 Following their recent $1.9 trillion “coronavirus relief” bill that was loaded with bailouts and spending unrelated to the actual coronavirus, Biden and congressional Democrats are now working on a new $3 trillion package that will include things like “green spending”, tuition reductions, and “investments in human capital”. As loudly as I can say this: WE’RE $28 TRILLION IN DEBT!!! They’ve no desire to reduce spending but they’re happy to push for tax hikes.

🔺 They’ve proposed one bill that manages to harm the rights of parents, female athletes, and our religious liberties all in one bill (H.R. 5 – see my post from Feb. 25th). 🔺 They want to turn the residential neighborhoods of D.C. into a tiny new state, in order to land two new liberal-voting seats in the U.S. Senate (H.R. 51 – see my post from March 22nd). 🔺 They’re working on increasing the power and influence of labor unions (H.R. 842 – see my post from March 8th.) And I’m just getting started!

So with all these efforts underway, President Biden is literally consulting with historians to try to gauge how much further he and congressional Democrats can jerk the country towards the far left. It’s truly astounding, and I will continue to oppose it at every turn.
