It’s a calculated lie when President Biden tells you his border crisis was inherited from President Trump. By calculated, I mean he knows the media WILL NEVER hold him to account on this issue. So he can bank on more people being persuaded by a false narrative rather than the actual facts:

◾ Trump didn’t campaign on a relaxed approach to border security. Trump didn’t stop building his own border wall. ◾ Trump didn’t try to halt removal of those with active deportation orders. ◾ Trump didn’t reinstate “catch & release.” ◾ Trump didn’t lift fines for those who willfully snub orders from an immigration judge to leave. ◾ Trump didn’t end his own policy requiring asylum seekers to remain in Mexico while awaiting their hearing.

Biden did those things, not Trump.

His handling of the border has been a TOTAL DISASTER which is now jeopardizing liberals’ pursuit of amnesty, a pathway to citizenship, and (eventually) millions of new Democrat voters. This is why Mr. Biden, congressional Democrats, and liberal pundits are trying to gaslight the American people into believing the recent humanitarian crisis is somehow Trump’s fault.
