This will be one of the largest telephone town halls I've ever done. Many tens of thousands of people will be on the line, and I hope you can join me as well. This live event will begin at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, September 6th. (That's the day after Labor Day.)
I'm excited to try something a little different this time. I’ve heard from countless constituents about their concerns over… Read more »
With the stroke of a pen earlier this week, Biden saddled you and other taxpayers with more than $500 billion worth of other people's student loan debt.
First of all, isn’t it funny how Democrats are trying to compare that to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)?
For those of you who don’t remember, the PPP enabled people to remain employed when the pandemic literally shut down much of… Read more »
Friends, I’m as outraged as I can be over Biden making YOU responsible for other people’s student loan debts.
Of all the things we’ve had to put up with under this administration – skyrocketing inflation, rising violent crime, record levels of illegal immigration, failed foreign policy, on and on – this is just par for the course.
So many constituents have called and written into my… Read more »
I know I’ve covered this multiple times, but we need to cover it again. Today, President Biden is expected to announce a plan to “cancel” up to $10,000 in federal student debt for those earning under $125K.
Friends, debt isn’t just "canceled." Whether it’s the federal government or a private lender, you don’t just erase loans off the books. What’s really happening here is the… Read more »
Yet again, Joe Biden is trying to saddle you with other people’s student debt. This latest effort, according to news reports, would “cancel” at least $10,000 in federal student debt for those earning under a certain amount.
I put “cancel” in quotes because it’s not canceled at all. Whether it’s the federal government or a private lender, you don’t just erase loans off the books. That’s… Read more »
Last week, the CDC Director finally stated the obvious. During an interview, Rochelle Walensky said her agency mishandled significant parts of its responsibilities during Covid, and an overhaul of that agency is now needed.
You think?! Where do we begin with this?
We’re talking about an agency that recommended masks for TWO-YEAR-OLD children, despite studies indicating their… Read more »
Here’s an issue that many people might not be aware of, but it’s something I’ve been looking at closely in Congress.
China owns and controls almost 192,000 acres of farmland right here in the United States. To be clear, it’s not a huge percentage of our total farm acreage by any stretch. According to the FDA, there are more than 35 million acres of farmland in the U.S. which are owned by… Read more »
Release the affidavits! I’m talking about the sworn testimony – from one or more people – that federal authorities used to convince a judge to issue warrants allowing them to raid President Trump’s home last week.
Show us that testimony!
If you’re going to raid the home of a former President – who also happens to be the possible future political opponent of the current administration –… Read more »
The IRS will be hiring an additional 87,000 agents if Democrats get their way on Friday. Liberals are trying to pass yet another massive spending package for climate change, and they want to pay for part of that by hiring 87,000 additional IRS agents to audit even more taxpayers, to see if there’s any additional money that can be wrung out from them.
I want to talk to those people who… Read more »
Definitely a mixed bag of news this morning. Inflation data has just been updated by the government.
If you remember last month’s report, inflation between June 2021 – June 2022 was at 9.1%. In other words, the same goods & services you purchased in June 2022 cost you 9.1% more than they did a year earlier in June 2021. Many people have been struggling under the weight of these… Read more »
