We’re really seeing the Left’s unhinged vitriol on display over the Supreme Court and Roe v. Wade.

They’re protesting in front of the homes of several Supreme Court justices. There was a Molotov cocktail thrown into the office of a pro-life organization. Some even held rallies on Mother’s Day, which is actually “on brand” for many of these groups.

I wonder if these people actually know what they’re protesting, quite honestly.

Overturning Roe v. Wade is NOT going to end abortion in our nation. It would simply end the misguided federal protections on the so-called “right” to end the life of an unborn child, thus empowering the legislatures in each of the 50 states to make their own laws concerning abortion.

Even if Roe v. Wade is overturned, there will still be liberal states like California and New York where abortion for convenience is legal, even deep into pregnancy. Meanwhile, there will be other states, like here in South Carolina, where a majority if our citizens and elected leaders believe in the right to life.

We should long for a country where abortion for convenience is universally viewed not as “healthcare” or a “right” but instead for what it is: an atrocity.

We’ll reach that point one day, for sure. In the meantime, Roe v. Wade should be overturned – it wasn’t a constitutional decision to begin with.
