If this isn’t a dereliction of duty by this President, I don’t know what is. We had the HIGHEST NUMBER EVER RECORDED last month of migrant encounters along our southern border.
Border agents encountered 234,088 individuals in April. Of those who were apprehended, a WHOPPING 117,989 were released into the interior of the United States. This is from court documents obtained by the… Read more »
If this President wanted to bring down inflation, the LAST thing he should do is call for higher taxes.
Biden’s inflation crisis was NOT caused by taxes being too low. No legitimate economist, and no rational political observer honestly believes that.
Instead, Biden’s inflation crisis must be attacked on two separate fronts: supply-side and demand-side.

Over 40% of our nation’s baby formulas are currently out of stock. That’s according to Datasembly, a company that tracks retail inventory. This figure is up from 31% just a month ago. A normal out-of-stock rate should be around 10%, according to the Wall Street Journal.

We received so many fantastic submissions from schools across our district for the 2022 Congressional Art Competition that this year was especially difficult to narrow down for our judges!
Jim Shore, Michael Simpson, and additional artists native to South Carolina’s 5th Congressional district made up the panel of judges who chose our winners. I am so pleased to announce the 2022… Read more »
As loudly as I can say this: THANK GOD for our law enforcement officers.
It’s National Police Week. I don’t mean to sound like a broken record when it comes to supporting law enforcement, but I think we’re living in odd times right now:
Across the nation, too many categories of violent crime are on the rise. Too many parents are not raising their children correctly. Too many… Read more »
We’re supposed to vote shortly on $40 billion in financial assistance for Ukraine.
$40 billion! This is a STAGGERING amount of money, even for our federal government. It’s more than the ~combined~ budgets of the Labor Department, EPA, and Commerce Department. In fact, $40 billion is more than what we appropriate to the Justice Department each year. So obviously I did a double-take with… Read more »
