I was a resounding NO vote just moments ago. In fact, every Republican voted NO. But Democrats in the House still managed to ram through their massive socialist spending spree. (What they laughably call the “Build Back Better” plan.)
I will never understand the thinking of those who support this bill. It is the most irresponsible and liberal legislation we’ve seen in decades.

I'm pleased that implementation of President Biden's unconstitutional employer vaccine mandate has been formally SUSPENDED by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Remember earlier this month, the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals cited “grave statutory and constitutional issues” with Biden's actions when the Court issued its emergency stay on his… Read more »
It’s like spending $75 on a hamburger because you really like the restaurant’s pickles. You’d never do that, but for some reason, you’re supposed to applaud the government spending over a trillion dollars on a so-called “infrastructure” bill the week before last, which had only a pickel’s worth of spending on actual infrastructure.
Two simple questions ought to guide… Read more »
Last night, we received an alarming update on the projected costs of the Democrats’ “Build Back Better” plan. Remember this is the next round of massive, multi-trillion-dollar, socialist spending they’re trying to ram through Congress while they still can.
As I covered in my post Sunday night, Democrats have intentionally manipulated this legislation by adding sham expiration dates to… Read more »
To date, I’m proud to have co-sponsored EVERY reasonable piece of legislation in the House of Representatives to limit or curb vaccine mandates. Last time I checked that number was over a dozen bills and counting.
Obviously, I’m not opposed to Covid vaccines, as evident by the fact I’ve been vaccinated myself. But it’s a personal choice, and I am STAUNCHLY OPPOSED to the government… Read more »
It was only a week ago that Nancy Pelosi managed to twist enough arms to pass a massive $1.2 trillion spending bill. That legislation had a small amount of appropriate infrastructure spending, but a TON of unnecessary waste and government overreach. It should have never passed the House, but thirteen Republicans – approx. 6% of total Republicans in the House – helped Democrats push it… Read more »
The news is not good this Wednesday morning. Inflation has now surged to a 30 year high, according to data just released by the Labor Department.
For the year ending on October 31st, wholesale prices are up 8.6%, while consumer prices are up 6.2%. (For simplicity, think of “consumer prices” as what you pay the store, and “wholesale prices” as what that store has paid the… Read more »
Thank goodness that didn't take long! Earlier this Saturday afternoon, the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals placed an emergency stay (i.e. hold) on Biden's unconstitutional vaccine mandate.
Stating the obvious, the Court cited “grave statutory and constitutional issues” with Biden's actions.
It's important to understand this is just a temporary block.… Read more »
I voted NO last night, just like I promised. For those who are interested, here’s a quick & simple summary of what happened yesterday in the House of Representatives on the two massive tax & spend proposals.
Remember we’re talking about two separate bills. Bill #1 has been dubbed the “infrastructure bill.” It has over $1 trillion that deals with infrastructure… Read more »
So yesterday, Biden released details of his new vaccine mandate. Get this: if you work in a company that employs more than 100 people, he’s literally plans on having government agents inspect your business for compliance.
According to Biden’s new rules, starting in January, your company must either have a policy mandating you be vaccinated, or a policy requiring you to be tested weekly… Read more »
