More bad news today on the inflation front. Consumer prices jumped 0.4% last month, according to the Labor Department. Over the last year, prices have risen 5.4%. The average price for gas hit $3.02/gallon here in South Carolina yesterday, according to AAA. That’s up a whopping 55% from this time one year ago.
